Ukraine Defiant was a festival of Ukrainian films, organized by Ukrainian Institute London in September 2022.
For the main poster organizers have chosen a signature photo of Ukrainian soldier and photographer Dmytro 'Orest' Kozatsky documenting his experience of the siege of Azovstal plant by Russian forces. They needed a lettering that would accompany it and the other film stills conceptually and evoke the feeling of Ukrainian resilience, but at the same time not be too overwhelming.
